So you want to be a contributor at Planner Squad? Awesome! We would love to have you here! We do have some requirements that you need to know about before you agree to contribute. Please read this post in its entirety. If you have any questions, please contact Jenn or Amy so they can help you. If you are ready to contribute and agree to the following requirements, let us know and we will send you the contributors contract to sign so you can get started!
Original Work Only
The work you submit may only be published at Planner Squad. It is, however, okay to write a blurb on your own blog leading your readers to your post to Planner Squad.
Please Note: Copyright laws are a very serious thing that should not be taken lightly. We must all follow all copyright laws and make sure we have full permission to distribute the content. Any content shared that violates copyright laws could potentially lead to lawsuits and hefty fines, and nobody has time for that! You will be asked to sign a legally binding contract before we publish anything stating that you agree to these terms.
Property of Planner Squad
All work submitted to Planner Squad becomes property of Planner Squad. If you choose to no longer contribute, your posts and submitted graphics will stay up at Planner Squad and you will continue to get full credit for your posts.
Posts should be a minimum of 500 words
Try to keep posts at a max of 1000 words. We believe readers will not always be interested in reading super lengthy posts, but we personally are not picky. If it does go over 1000 words, it’s okay. If you have a long post, maybe consider turning it into more than one post if possible.
Full time contributors are required to post at least 2 times per month.
If one month something in your life causes you to not be able to post twice, we’re flexible. If it continues to be a problem, it may not be a good time for you to be a contributor. In return for contributing regularly here at Planner Squad, we are offering free advertising space for one ad in our sidebar.
Social Media Posts
All posts should have matching images for the different social media that include the post title (using only the fonts “Montez” and “Raleway”) as well as the Planner Squad watermark. If you would like to include your own watermark as well, make sure you put “Made by [Your WM] for [Planner Squad WM]”. If you are unable to make images using your image editing software with these requirements, let Jenn or Amy know so they can assist you.
You may link back to your own blog if it is appropriate. You are also welcome to link to other sites and blogs when appropriate. (If too many link backs, we reserve the right to remove a few.)
If you were once a full time contributor and suddenly feel you can no longer contribute to Planner Squad, your affiliate links may be changed to benefit the site, rather than your personal affiliate account.
Max 5 affiliate links per post.
We will work within our private Planner Squad Contributors Facebook group to discuss upcoming topics/themes, share resources, and plan Periscope and Blab parties.
