Sign Up for the November 2016 Planner Squad Swap

Can you believe it’s almost November?! This year has flown by so fast that my head is spinning! We’ve been having a blast all year long with the Planner Squad Swap, and we can’t wait to see what the November Swap has in store! Whether you are new to swapping at Planner Squad, or a seasoned swap veteran, keep reading. You never know when the rules are going to change!

How does the Planner Squad Swap work?

Basically, you fill out the form at the bottom of this page, and around the 1st of the month you will be paired with your very own Squadette Sister! You and your swap buddy will each shop for and/or create planner related goodies to be packaged up and shipped to your partner! Swap partners are paired together – so whoever you are sending to, will be sending something to you in return.

Who can participate in the swaps?

Our swaps are only open to our awesome Squadettes. But guess what, I have a surprise for our International Squadettes!

For the first time ever, we will also be hosting an international swap this month as well! There will be two separate sign up forms at the bottom of this page. Be sure to sign up for the correct swap!

What is the monthly limit we should spend on our swap partner?

Your swap package should be valued at $15. That may or may not including shipping, that is up to you. You are more than welcome to spend more on your swap partner if you would like, however that does not guarantee you will get the same amount in return. Do NOT send a package worth less than $15! (again, that can include shipping if you would like, unless you are an international swapper).

When is the deadline to sign up?

The signup deadline for the November 2016 swap is October 31st.

Okay, I signed up! When will I be assigned a swap partner?

Emails are generally sent out with your swap partners information around the 1st of every month. Check the facebook group for updates, because we will be sharing a list of who we have signed up for the swap. If you did not get an email, check your spam folder. If you still can’t find your email, contact us to let us know.

Make sure to add plannersquadswap@gmail.com to your contacts and/or create a filter so your email will go to your inbox!

Is there a shipping deadline?

Yes. All swap packages MUST be shipped (with a tracking number sent to your partner) by the end of the day on November 15th. That gives everyone about two weeks to shop for their partner and put together a package, which is plenty of time. If for some reason you cannot get to the post office in time to ship your partners package, you MUST let us and your Squadette Sister know. Once you ship your package, please send your partner the tracking number so they can be on the lookout for their happy mail!

Also it is important to note – order numbers are NOT the same as tracking numbers! Your order needs to be SHIPPED by the shipping date. If you send your partner an order number that shows an order was placed on the shipping deadline date, you will be considered late and could possibly be banned from future swaps.

Other things you should know as a swap participant

If you flake out on your partner and do not send a swap gift – you will be forever banned from the Planner Squad facebook group and no longer be allowed to participate in future swaps. Also, since partners are paired in groups of two – your swapper will know who their flaky swap partner was, which could ultimately end up in a bad reputation for yourself.

If you sign up – follow through. Zero tolerance for flaky swappers!

Also, do not wait to receive a package before sending yours. That’s not how it works! If everyone waited to receive a package before sending one in return – no one would ever get any packages! If you sign up – follow through!

**Disclaimer: Planner Squad and Facebook is not responsible for any wrong doings that may happen during a swap. When you sign up – keep in mind that you are taking a risk. We have no way to force anyone to send packages. That means, if someone doesn’t follow through on their end of the deal – you may not end up with a package that month. While that really stinks and we try to avoid that as much as possible, we’re ultimately not responsible if you do not get a gift in return. By signing up you are telling us that you understand there is a possibility that you may not receive anything in return. If you do not receive a package by the end of the month – contact Jenn or Amy immediately to report it. We will not be chasing down your swap partner for you – that is your responsibility.

  1. Hi! I’ve been wanting to sign up but I’m not sure if I’d be considered US or International. I live on Guam, which is a US territory, but some online shops consider it to be International. Please help!
